Anyone who is serving alcohol in Utah needs an on-premise permit. Get yours today, 100% online. ENGLISH ONLY.
Easy Food Handlers is a State of Utah Department of Health Approved Provider
This permit is meant for those who serve alcohol to the public or works in an establishment that does so. If you work in a retail store that sells bottles or cans of alcohol, you must take the E.A.S.Y class, which we do not offer at this time.
You must renew your on-premise alcohol permit every three years. To renew, you must rewatch the class and re-take the exam.
We cover everything you need to know to serve alcohol safely in Utah. We teach how to scan IDs, what IDs are acceptable, how to avoid overservice to the guest and what different levels of intoxication looks like. You will watch interviews with a representative from the DABS, the State Bureau of Investigation, a Utah alcohol attorney, the Utah State legislator who passed the 0.5 DUI law and interviews with local restaurant and bar owners.
You need to get a 75% or better to pass the exam and you get three tries. If you don’t pass, Easy Food Handlers shows you the questions you got wrong. If you don’t pass on the third try, Utah requires you to repurchase the class and rewatch the videos.
You can print off your three year permit directly from your account as soon as you pass the exam.

Listening is easy and entertaining, so time spent watching the course went quickly. I appreciated the segment quizzes to re-enforce the information given. I will assuredly use this course again when this permit expires.
I enjoyed the class, it was funny. I really liked hearing from the restaurant owners and managers.
This was informative AND interesting. It taught necessary food handling rules and techniques in a way that helps students understand WHY the rules are necessary. It used great examples to help remember the material taught.
